The Hyundai Accent MC is the third generation of Hyundai's subcompact nameplate, introduced at the 2005 New York International Auto Show and produced from 2005 to 2012 across multiple markets. Built on the MC platform (shared architecturally with the Kia Rio JB), it was offered as a 4-door sedan and 3-door hatchback with a 2,500mm wheelbase.
Market | Nameplate | Production |
|---|---|---|
South Korea | Hyundai Verna | 2005-2010 |
China (Beijing-Hyundai) | Hyundai Verna | 2006-2010 |
North America | Hyundai Accent | 2006-2011 |
India | Hyundai Verna | 2006-2011 |
Turkey (HAOS) | Hyundai Accent Era | 2006-2012 |
Mexico | Dodge Attitude | 2006-2011 |
Puerto Rico | Hyundai Brio | 2006-2010 |
4-door sedan: 4,280mm length (4,300mm for Verna Transform facelift and Chinese variants)
3-door hatchback: 4,045mm length
Width: 1,695mm / Height: 1,470-1,480mm (varies by market)
The Verna Transform was a 2010 Korean-market facelift with revised front fascia and bumpers. The fender and wheel arch profile remained unchanged from the pre-facelift MC, so mud flap fitment is identical across all MC variants regardless of facelift status.
The MC platform is shared with the Kia Rio JB (2005-2011). While the two vehicles share the same 2,500mm wheelbase and powertrain architecture, they have different body panels and fender contours. Rio JB mud flaps are not interchangeable with Accent MC mud flaps.

All mud flaps in this SKU are contoured to the Accent MC fender profile. The following vehicles share identical wheel arch dimensions and are fully compatible:
Nameplate | Market | Years | Body Styles |
|---|---|---|---|
Hyundai Accent | Global (North America, Australia, etc.) | 2006-2011 | Sedan, Hatchback |
Hyundai Verna | Korea, China, Russia, India | 2005-2011 | Sedan, Hatchback |
Hyundai Verna Transform | Korea (facelift) | 2010-2011 | Sedan |
Dodge Attitude | Mexico (Dodge rebadge) | 2006-2011 | Sedan |

The following vehicles may appear related but have different fender profiles and are NOT compatible with this SKU:
Vehicle | Relationship | Reason |
|---|---|---|
Hyundai Accent LC (2nd gen) | Predecessor (2000-2005) | Different body shell, different platform (LC), different wheelbase (2,440mm) |
Hyundai Accent RB (4th gen) | Successor (2010-2017) | Different body shell, longer wheelbase (2,570mm), different fender contour |
Kia Rio JB | Platform mate (shared MC architecture) | Same platform but different body panels and fender profile; not interchangeable |
Hyundai i20 (PB) | European successor (2008-2014) | Completely different platform (PB), different body, replaced Accent in Europe |
Hyundai Solaris / Verna RB | 4th gen Russian/Chinese variant | RB platform, different body; "Verna" nameplate continued but on a different car |
The "Verna" nameplate spans multiple Accent generations (MC and RB). This SKU covers only the MC generation Verna (2005-2011). For RB generation Verna/Solaris (2010+), a separate SKU is required due to different fender dimensions.
These mudguards are manufactured to match the factory Accent MC fender contour. The wheel arch profile has been reverse-engineered from OEM dimensions to ensure:
Gap-free alignment with the fender lip edge
Correct mounting point positions matching factory fender clip locations
Proper clearance for wheel travel at full lock and suspension compression
Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
UV stabilization | PP compound formulated for tropical and desert UV exposure |
Thickness | "Thicken" profile for extended service life vs standard aftermarket |
Color fastness | Black pigment throughout material depth, not surface-coated |
Flexibility | High elasticity rated for -30C to +80C operating range |
Logo embossing or debossing (MOQ applies, tooling required)
Color matching to buyer specification (custom pigment batching)
Packaging: bulk, retail box, or private-label OEM packaging
Material upgrade: PP standard, PP+TPE or TPE for premium tiers
Fastener kit configuration tailored to destination market hardware preferences
Installation requires no drilling on most Accent MC variants. The mudguards mount using existing factory fender clip locations. Estimated installation time is 30-45 minutes per vehicle with basic hand tools.
Clean the wheel arch and fender lip area to remove dirt and debris
Position the front mudguard against the front fender, aligning pre-drilled holes with factory clip locations
Insert plastic fender fastener clips into the primary mounting points
Secure reinforcement points with U clip screws at wheel arch edges
Tighten Allen screws at securing points using the included hex key
Repeat steps 2-5 for the rear mudguard, noting the different contour (200 x 245mm vs 150 x 220mm front)
Verify all fasteners are seated flush and the mudguard sits flat against the fender
Fastener | Location | Quantity per Vehicle |
|---|---|---|
Plastic fender fastener clips | Primary mounting holes | 6-8 (varies by body style) |
U clip screws | Wheel arch edge reinforcement | 4 |
Allen screws with hex key | Securing points | 4 |
Inspect clip tightness annually, especially after off-road or rough-road driving
Clean with mild soap and water; avoid petroleum-based solvents that may degrade PP
Check for stress cracks at mounting points after winter season in cold climates
Replace individual pieces if cracked; full set replacement recommended if multiple pieces show wear
Auto parts are essential components for the proper functioning of vehicles used in car assembly lines or for maintenance and repair services after purchase. Autobridge™ (Xiamen) provides a wide range of OES, aftermarket replacement parts, including AC compressors, cylinder heads, oil pumps, power steering pumps, starter motors, and turbochargers. These components are installed in powertrains, steering systems, rear axle assemblies, and chassis assemblies. Auto parts need to meet the design specifications and performance requirements of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, as well as comply with local regulations or CAPA certification. Depending on the requirements based on OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for material or design improvements, aftermarket parts may outperform the original genuine parts.
Car accessories are AFTERMARKET MODIFIED PARTS for cars after the production line. Autobridge™ (Xiamen) offers a variety of accessories, including an airflow snorkel, bumper, door visors, matting, spoiler, and trunk tray. The car accessories are not performance parts and generally do not affect the original power and safety. They are used to modify the appearance style, enhance off-road capabilities, or increase driving comfort. Compared to the genuine accessories, we offer customization services for aftermarket replacement accessories that cater to the buyer's specific requirements. Each accessory can be designed specifically for different car models.
