Engineered to match the BYD Tang's Dragon Face 3.0 facelift body, these mud flaps contour to the wheel arch profiles introduced in the 2022 model year update. The DM-P variant shares its body shell with the DM-i and EV variants, ensuring cross-powertrain compatibility for buyers sourcing parts across the Tang lineup.
BYD Tang DM-P (2022-present): Performance PHEV, 1.5T engine + dual motors, 452 kW combined, 4.3s 0-100 km/h, 215 km pure electric range
BYD Tang DM-i (2022-present): Efficiency PHEV, 252 km pure electric range variant available, same body shell and wheel arch geometry
BYD Tang EV (2022-present): Pure electric variant, exported to Thailand and other SEA markets, identical body dimensions
BYD Tang 1st Gen (2015-2018): Based on the BYD S6 platform, completely different body dimensions and wheel arch design. Physically incompatible.
BYD Tang 2nd Gen pre-facelift (2018-2021): Dragon Face 2.0 design. Shares the same 2820 mm wheelbase and body platform, but front and rear lower bumper profiles differ from the 2022 facelift. Physical verification of mounting points recommended before bulk ordering.
Length: 4870 mm | Width: 1950 mm | Height: 1725 mm
Wheelbase: 2820 mm | Front track: 1650 mm | Rear track: 1630 mm
Body style: 5-door SUV, 7-seat (optional 6-seat) layout
Platform: BYD DM 3.0 architecture, mid-size SUV segment
PP (Standard): High-elasticity polypropylene, impact-resistant, factory black finish, default option for most export orders
PP+TPE: Polypropylene base with TPE overlay, enhanced cold-weather flexibility, recommended for markets with sub-zero winters
TPE: Thermoplastic elastomer, premium feel, superior UV resistance, non-marking surface, higher unit cost
ABS (Rigid): Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, higher surface hardness, glossier finish, available on request for show-use applications
Standard: Matte black (factory default)
Custom: Gloss black, body-color matched, carbon-look texture (MOQ applies)
Injection moulding: Achieves tighter tolerance (2.0-2.5 mm wall thickness), consistent curvature matching OEM wheel arch profiles. Higher tooling cost, lower per-unit cost at volume. Recommended for orders above 500 sets.
Plastic uptake forming: Vacuum-formed from sheet stock (1.2-1.8 mm wall thickness), lower tooling cost, faster prototyping. Suitable for sample orders and smaller batch runs.
Quantity: 4 pieces per set (front left, front right, rear left, rear right)
Surface finish: Textured matte black (standard)
UV stabilizer: Added to all formulations for outdoor durability
Fastener hardware: Included with every set (see Tab 4 for details)

Tang DM | Dragon Face 2.0 | 2018-2021 | Verify before ordering |
Tang EV | Dragon Face 2.0 | 2018-2021 | Verify before ordering |
The pre-facelift 2nd gen shares the same platform and wheelbase (2820 mm), but the 2022 facelift revised front and rear lower bumper profiles. Mud flap mounting points at the wheel arch edges are likely unchanged, but the lower extension contour differs. We recommend ordering a sample set for physical fitment testing before committing to volume.

Tang DM (1st gen) | BYD S6 platform | 2015-2018 | Incompatible |
The 1st generation Tang was built on the BYD S6 mid-size SUV platform with different body dimensions, wheel arch curvature and mounting point locations. A separate SKU is required for 1st gen fitment.
Screw-on with OEM mounting points: Utilizes existing factory mounting holes in the wheel arch lip. No drilling required for the 2022+ Tang body shell.
Clip-on supplementary fasteners: Plastic fender fastener clips provide additional retention at the lower edge. No permanent modification to the vehicle body.
Plastic Fender Fastener Clips: Push-in style, matches BYD factory wheel arch clip specification. Black color, UV-stabilized.
U-Clip Screws: U-shaped mounting clips with self-tapping screws for secure attachment to the inner fender panel.
Allen Screws with Hex Key: M6 hex head screws with matching Allen key tool provided. Corrosion-resistant zinc plating.
Estimated install time: 20-30 minutes per vehicle, 4 corners
No special tools required beyond the included hex key
Recommended to test-fit each piece before final tightening to confirm alignment with the Dragon Face 3.0 wheel arch contour
For pre-facelift 2nd gen Tang (2018-2021), verify mounting hole alignment before installation as bumper lower profiles differ
