Fuel Type Does Not Affect Fitment

The Panther was offered with diesel (C223, 4JA-1, 4JA-1 turbo) and petrol (GM Family II, Tavera only) engines. Door visor fitment is determined by generation and body style, not by engine or fuel type.

The machining accuracy of injection molding is relatively better than plastic uptake process, with machinable thickness controlled at 2.0mm to 2.5mm. The mold opening cost of plastic uptake process is lower than injection molding, with machinable thickness controlled at 1.2mm to 1.8mm. The widening of door visors is based on the car models. The color of the protective film covers on the chrome/steel trim is transparent or blue, and can be custom built by buyer.

Facelift Impact on Door Visor Fitment

The Panther/Crosswind received four major facelifts during its 2nd generation (2005, 2007, 2011, 2015). These facelifts primarily changed the front grille, headlamps, front bumper, and interior trim. The door frame stamping and window channel dimensions remained unchanged across all 2nd Gen facelifts. Door visors designed for the 2nd Gen TBR541 platform fit all facelift versions without modification.

Trim Level Compatibility

Trim levels (XT, XUV, Sportivo, XTi, LS, etc.) do not affect door visor fitment. Trim differences are limited to interior upholstery, wheel designs, exterior badging, and accessory packages. The door frame geometry is identical across all trims within the same generation.

Chevrolet Tavera Compatibility
