  • Custom-fit door visors for Nissan Bluebird Sylphy 2000-present, covering four generations (G10, G11, B17, B18) and both sedan and hatchback body styles — one SKU serves the entire Sylphy / Pulsar / Sentra / Almera / SM3 / Scala model family across all global rebadges
  • Deflects harsh side glare and reduces cabin heat through Sylphy's large greenhouse, especially valuable in tropical Middle East and Southeast Asian markets where fleet taxi versions of Sylphy are widely deployed
  • Allows partial window opening in rain without water ingress, and the aerodynamic profile is tuned to Sylphy's low roofline to minimize additional wind noise at highway speeds
  • Material and trim combinations available for wholesale export: PP (economy) / PMMA (UV-stable premium clarity) / PC (cold-climate flexibility), with electroplated bright strip, mirror stainless steel, or 3D stainless steel chrome options

The Sylphy Is Nissan's Global Compact Sedan Platform — and the Most Rebadged Model in Nissan's Lineup

The Bluebird Sylphy, launched in 2000 as the joint successor to both the Bluebird (910 series) and Sunny (B15), is Nissan's most rebadged global compact sedan. Across 25 years and four generations (G10 / G11 / B17 / B18), it has been sold under the Sylphy, Almera, Pulsar, Sentra, Renault Samsung SM3, and Renault Scala nameplates — covering virtually every market outside Japan and North America. This single SKU fits all four generations and all six nameplates, with body style coverage for both four-door sedan (the dominant global configuration) and five-door hatchback (Pulsar C13 in Europe).

Taxi, Ride-Hailing and Fleet Operator Use

Sylphy and its Almera rebadge are the dominant fleet taxi models across Southeast Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia) and parts of China. Taxis and ride-hailing vehicles accumulate 200+ km daily in heavy urban traffic, often with the front windows partially open for ventilation. Door visors allow full-time partial window opening without rain ingress — the difference between a comfortable cab and a waterlogged one during monsoon season. Fleet buyers (e.g., Indonesia Grab fleet operators, Thailand taxi cooperatives) typically order in 50-200 unit batches with corporate livery packaging.

Family and Long-Distance Touring Use

For family buyers using the Sylphy as a long-distance touring sedan, the B17 and B18 generations' improved sound insulation and 2,700 mm+ wheelbase make them well-suited to multi-hour drives across arid regions (Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia). Door visors reduce sun glare on driver and front passenger during early-morning or late-afternoon drives when the sun angle is low, while still permitting side ventilation in hot weather.

Material

Characteristics

Recommended for Sylphy Markets

PP (Polypropylene)

Economical, high impact resistance

High-volume fleet taxi orders (Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila taxi fleets)

PMMA (Acrylic)

High transparency, UV-stable, gloss finish

Premium retail, Middle East (UAE, Saudi) and Australia markets with intense sun exposure

PC (Polycarbonate)

Highest flexibility, hand-bendable, impact-resistant

Cold-climate markets (Northern China, Russia, Central Asia) and aftermarket installers

All variants use high-adhesion automotive-grade tape rated for automated car wash systems. PP material is the most commonly specified grade for wholesale orders given the Sylphy's price-sensitive fleet positioning.

Aerodynamic Profile Across Generations

The four Sylphy generations have very different greenhouse profiles:

  • G10 (2000-2005): Tall greenhouse, narrow C-pillar — door visors are deeper (90-100 mm) for adequate rain deflection

  • G11 (2005-2012): Lower roofline, wider C-pillar — visors become more streamlined (70-85 mm) to avoid contact with the side curtain airbag deployment zone

  • B17 (2012-2019): Coupe-like silhouette — low-profile lip (60-75 mm) for visual integration

  • B18 (2019-present): V-Motion front fascia, slimmer greenhouse — visors must clear the aerodynamic side mirror mount; minimum 50 mm clearance required

The B18 in particular has tighter packaging constraints; samples should be verified on physical vehicles before bulk ordering.

Installation Methods (OEM Customisation Available)

  • Tape-on: Most common across all Sylphy generations; uses 3M-equivalent high-bond acrylic foam tape. Pre-applied or supplied separately.

  • In-channel: Sits inside the window channel for the cleanest appearance (suitable for B17 and B18 with their narrow window frame design)

  • Clip-on: Uses existing VAG-style door flange clips where applicable

  • Out-channel: Combined with rubber seal channel for older G10/G11 door architectures

Customisation: Buyers may specify exclusive Sylphy-family mold development (one mold covers G10/G11 sedans; a second mold is needed for B17/B18 sedans; a third for the B18 hatchback).

Critical Fitment Note: G10 and G11 Use a Different Door Flange Geometry than B17 and B18

This SKU requires physical sample verification before bulk ordering. While the Sylphy platform has remained compact-sedan in positioning across all four generations, the actual door flange dimensions changed substantially between G11 (2005-2012) and B17 (2012-2019). A one-mold-fits-all solution is available for G10+G11 (using the original Nissan door flange geometry) and a separate mold for B17+B18 (using the newer V-platform door flange). The B18 hatchback (Pulsar C13) requires a third mold variant.

  1. Provide your generation sample: G10 / G11 / B17 / B18, sedan or hatchback

  2. Physical fitment test: Trial-fit the sample visor on your local market vehicle

  3. Confirm before bulk order: AutoBridge signs off production only after sample approval

Failure to verify can result in 10-20% waste due to the door flange mismatch — particularly common when buyers order under "Sylphy 2010" but receive G11 (1st facelift) and the actual fleet is B17 (3rd gen).

  • G10 / G11: Used import only, active in Russia, Central Asia, East Africa, Caribbean

  • B17: Active production (2012-2019) and used export markets

  • B18: Active production (2019-present) in China, Japan, Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia

Wholesale buyers can specify "all-generation compatible packaging" for mixed-fleet sales to used car export markets.

Machining Details

  • In terms of machining accuracy, injection molding outperforms the plastic uptake process. The machinable thickness is controlled at 2.0 mm to 2.5 mm.

  • The mold opening cost for the plastic uptake process is lower than injection molding, and the machinable thickness is controlled at 1.2 mm to 1.8 mm.

  • The widening of door visors are based on the car models.

  • The chrome/steel trim comes with protective film covers in either transparent or blue. The buyer has the option to personalize the color.

Chrome Trim Design

Chrome trim for door visors --- Electroplated bright strip shape designElectroplated bright strip shape design with PS material main body

Electroplated Bright Strip Shape Design

Electroplated bright trims are processed with chrome plating technology on high-quality plastic blanks. The processed chrome-plated bright trim can present a more shiny metallic luster under high light compared to 3D stainless steel decorative strips. When touched by hand, the curvature of the electroplated bright trim is more three-dimensional and rounder than that of the 3D stainless steel chrome trim. To improve weather resistance characteristics, anti-oxidation surface treatment can be applied to electroplated bright trims. Electroplated bright trim s are usually matched with PS materials.

Chrome trim for door visors --- Mirror stainless steel design

Mirror Stainless Steel Design

The design of mirror stainless steel creates a nearly embedded installation for the chrome trim, which is smoothly installed in the groove of the door visor. The chrome trim fits smoothly into the groove of the door visor, providing a smooth feel when touched by hand. This smooth design reflects light differently from 3D stainless steel designs, with a single reflection angle that makes it look more like a flat mirror when reflecting objects. The large curvature of the door visor main body complements the smooth decorative design, creating an obvious turning point relationship and enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal.

The PC material of the door visor can be bent to a large extent by hand

The PC material of the door visor can be bent to a large extent

3D Stainless Steel Design

The shape of the 3D stainless steel trim is more three-dimensional and rounded than the mirror stainless steel shape. The top and bottom sides of the chrome trim and the protruding vertex in the middle form a curved design. When touched by hand, you can intuitively feel the change in curvature. This curved shape produces varying reflection effects under high light at different angles. The main body of the door visor itself already has a certain curve design, and when they are paired together, they show a more traditional design style. 3D Stainless steel chrome trims are commonly used with PC material door visors. The flexibility of the PC material allows for this type of door visor with such a design can be bent to a large extent.

  • The machining accuracy of injection molding is relatively better than plastic uptake process, its machinable thickness is controlled at 2.0mm to 2.5mm.

  • The mold opening cost of plastic uptake process is lower than injection molding, its machinable thickness is controlled at 1.2mm to 1.8mm.

  • The widening of door visors are based on the car models.

  • The color of the protective film covers on the chrome/steel trim is transparent or blue. The color can be custom built by buyer.

  • The Description Difference between Model Years and Production Years

Due to our use of open network databases, like Wikipedia and Autohome, for some of our vehicle data, there might be minor variations in the descriptions found in our SKU designs. "Production Years" are the years when a specific model is first introduced to the public market. On the other hand, "Model Years" refer to the different versions of a model that were available to consumers in different years. These differences in model years often come with changes to the exterior or interior design of the vehicle. When searching for car information on websites or through dealers, typically you are searching based on 'Model Years'. For instance, the third generation of the Honda Accord was introduced on June 4th, 1985, and ceased production in 1989. ‘1985-1989’ represents the ‘Production Years’ of the Accord, while the ‘Model Years’ in automobile databases are listed as ‘1986-1989’. Due to the different sources of information, there may be differences in the way they are presented. As our products cover car parts and accessories, we have incorporated both "Production Years" and "Model Years" terminology. Please note this.
  • Compatibility Description of Auto Parts

Auto parts are essential components for the proper functioning of vehicles used in car assembly lines or for maintenance and repair services after purchase. Autobridge™ (Xiamen) provides a wide range of OES, aftermarket replacement parts, including AC compressors, cylinder heads, oil pumps, power steering pumps, starter motors, and turbochargers. These components are installed in powertrains, steering systems, rear axle assemblies, and chassis assemblies. Auto parts need to meet the design specifications and performance requirements of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, as well as comply with local regulations or CAPA certification. Depending on the requirements based on OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for material or design improvements, aftermarket parts may outperform the original genuine parts.

Car accessories are AFTERMARKET MODIFIED PARTS for cars after the production line. Autobridge™ (Xiamen) offers a variety of accessories, including an airflow snorkel, bumper, door visors, matting, spoiler, and trunk tray. The car accessories are not performance parts and generally do not affect the original power and safety. They are used to modify the appearance style, enhance off-road capabilities, or increase driving comfort. Compared to the genuine accessories, we offer customization services for aftermarket replacement accessories that cater to the buyer's specific requirements. Each accessory can be designed specifically for different car models.
