The Volkswagen C-Trek (Chinese: 蔚领, pinyin: Weilîng) is a compact crossover wagon produced by FAW-Volkswagen from 2017 to 2020. Positioned as "China's first crossover wagon," the C-Trek combines sedan comfort with wagon practicality and slightly raised ground clearance. Measuring 4,556mm long with a 2,610mm wheelbase, the C-Trek's wheel arch geometry differs from the standard Bora sedan due to its wider body cladding and crossover styling. AutoBridge supplies mud flaps (also called mudguards, splash guards, or wheel arch protectors) precision-engineered to the C-Trek's specific wheel arch contour.
2017 C-Trek – Launch edition, 1.5L NA and 1.4T engine options
2018 C-Trek – Continued production, same wheel arch geometry
2019 C-Trek – Minor trim updates, mud flap fitment unchanged
2020 C-Trek – Final production year before discontinuation
Volkswagen Bora Wagon (export variant) – Shares wheel arch geometry with C-Trek
The C-Trek is popular among Chinese families and has developed a niche following among used-car exporters shipping China-made VW wagons to the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia), Eastern Europe, and Russia. In these markets, dealers often need aftermarket mud flaps to replace damaged OEM parts or upgrade protection for used imports. The C-Trek's crossover body style means slightly wider wheel arch cladding than a standard sedan, requiring model-specific mud flap dimensions (front 180×255mm, rear 190×250mm).
AutoBridge offers three material options for the C-Trek mud flaps: PP (polypropylene, standard), PP+TPE (enhanced flexibility in cold weather), and TPE (premium, odorless). All options include pre-drilled holes matching the C-Trek's factory fastener positions. PP soft plastic is the most popular choice for wholesale orders (100+ sets) due to its balance of cost, flexibility, and weather resistance.
Before installing, confirm your C-Trek's production year (2017-2020) and verify the wheel arch geometry matches the mud flap dimensions listed above (front 180×255mm, rear 190×250mm). The C-Trek's wheel arch cladding is wider than the standard Bora sedan, so do not attempt to use Bora sedan mud flaps on a C-Trek.
Clean the wheel arch area with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt and wax.
Align the front mud flap with the pre-drilled holes in the wheel arch cladding.
Insert the plastic fender fastener clips through the mud flap into the factory holes.
Secure with the provided U-clip screws and Allen key (torque: hand-tight, do not over-tighten).
Repeat for the rear wheels (rear mud flaps are smaller: 190×250mm).
Test by spraying water on the wheels to confirm mud flaps deflect splash away from the body.
For C-Trek owners in China: The factory wheel arch cladding is painted plastic. When installing mud flaps, avoid over-tightening fasteners to prevent cracking the cladding. For used-car exporters: Mud flaps are a common "refresh" item when preparing C-Trek wagons for export. Replacing damaged or missing mud flaps improves the vehicle's appearance for resale in Middle East and Eastern European markets.
AutoBridge supplies C-Trek mud flaps with three fastener configurations to match different buyer preferences and regional regulations.
Plastic fender fastener clips × 8 (compatible with FAW-VW factory hole spacing)
U-clip screws × 8 (M6 thread, 20mm length)
Allen screw with hex key × 1 (for pre-drilled hole alignment)
Stainless steel screws – Replaces plastic clips for permanent installation (popular in Middle East for heat resistance)
3M VHB adhesive backing – Tape-on mounting option (no drilling, ideal for leased vehicles)
Extended fastener kit – Adds 4 extra clips for reinforced mounting (recommended for off-road use)
Note: Fastener specifications are confirmed at the quotation stage. Contact us with your target market (e.g., UAE, Russia, Eastern Europe) for regional compliance recommendations.
Auto parts are essential components for the proper functioning of vehicles used in car assembly lines or for maintenance and repair services after purchase. Autobridge™ (Xiamen) provides a wide range of OES, aftermarket replacement parts, including AC compressors, cylinder heads, oil pumps, power steering pumps, starter motors, and turbochargers. These components are installed in powertrains, steering systems, rear axle assemblies, and chassis assemblies. Auto parts need to meet the design specifications and performance requirements of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, as well as comply with local regulations or CAPA certification. Depending on the requirements based on OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for material or design improvements, aftermarket parts may outperform the original genuine parts.
Car accessories are AFTERMARKET MODIFIED PARTS for cars after the production line. Autobridge™ (Xiamen) offers a variety of accessories, including an airflow snorkel, bumper, door visors, matting, spoiler, and trunk tray. The car accessories are not performance parts and generally do not affect the original power and safety. They are used to modify the appearance style, enhance off-road capabilities, or increase driving comfort. Compared to the genuine accessories, we offer customization services for aftermarket replacement accessories that cater to the buyer's specific requirements. Each accessory can be designed specifically for different car models.
